EDIT: Thank you so much guys, I got the questions I needed to answer all done! ;v; I spent at least 20 hours on this project so I am relieved it is all over. Tomorrow I am going to review my answers and adjust the formatting and once that is complete I can relax for the last few days of summer. x__x 4500+ words for a summer assignment is bulllshit.

So um, school resumes for me on Monday and being the lazy ass I am, I procrastinated on this HUGE summer assignment and now I am scrambling to finish it up at the last minute. I am stumped on a few questions so if you could help me out, that would be AMAAAAZING.

The book is called How to Read Literature Like A Professor by Thomas C. Foster and here are the questions.

Chapter 2 -- Nice to Eat with You: Acts of Communion

Choose a meal from a literary work and apply the ideas of Chapter 2 to this literary depiction.
(I partially answered this question, but it needs more beef. I'm doing Priam and Achilles' feast in The Iliad)

Chapter 8 -- Hanseldee and Greteldum

Think of a work of literature that reflects a fairy tale. Discuss the parallels. Does it create irony or deepen appreciation?
(Totally clueless. ;___;)

Chapter 15 -- Flights of Fancy

Select a literary work in which flight signifies escape or freedom. Explain in detail.
(Need to beef this one up as well, doing Maximum Ride)

Remember, I need HELP, not you answer the question for me. #8 is the highest priority for me as I have literally NOTHING.

For every question you successfully help me answer, I will make ONE signature banner for you.

I remember reading that book for my sophomore year of high school.  Let's see if I can come up with a few decent suggestions.

#8 - The first thing that comes to mind is CS Lewis's Till We Have Faces.  It's a retelling of the Greek myth of Cupid and Psyche, has princesses, and no happy ending.  One princess is smart but incredibly ugly, one is a dumb slut, and the youngest is beautiful and is sacrificed to appease an angry god.

#15 - The Eagles at the end of LotR Return of the King (and in the Hobbit as well).  After casting the ring into Mt. Doom, Sam  and Frodo are taken back to Rivendell (I think) by three of the great eagles.  Supposedly there were three in case Gollum did not succumb to the temptation of the ring.  After this, all of Middle Earth is free.

Also, Gandalf's line in Fellowship of the Ring: "Fly you fools!"  right before the Balrog takes him.  Gandalf sacrifices himself so the rest of the fellowship can escape.

I'll add more when I can think of something.
